Join a spring semester group for mothers and toddlers aged 18 months to 2 years. A children’s socialization group, led by a child development team, runs alongside a professionally led mothers’ discussion group in the same room. No more than six mother-child pairs participate in each group, ensuring a cohesive and intimate setting. The group meets on Mondays from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Call or e-mail Alice Rosenman LCSW, MS at (212) 665-6309, alice@theparentchildcenter.org, for more information or to sign up.

The group meets once a week on Tuesday, from 11:00-12:00. Call or e-mail Alice Rosenman LCSW, MS at (212) 665-6309, alice@theparentchildcenter.org, for more information or to sign up.

We are now accepting new members for our mother support  groups. The groups are held in our brightly lit play room (pictured right). Ongoing Challenges of Parenting

Motherhood requires almost perpetual adjustment to your child's needs. It can often seem that just as you get used to dealing with one aspect of your child's development, he or she is on to the next. In our articles, we share with you common questions and concerns of mothers about their child's development in a variety of areas. We also write about the issues and approaches involved in our helping mother-child pairs successfully move through the many stages of ongoing development.

"They understood my daughter as a person and as a personality and a lot of the insights they had about her, or the observations that they made, ended up being relevant now ten years later."

Contact our program coordinator Alice Rosenman MS, LCSW (212-665-6309 / alice@theparentchildcenter.org) to learn more about our brief consultations (Developmental Dialogues), short term groups and our long term mother support groups.
