Resources: Opportunities for Support

Dear Friend,

The Bernard L. Pacella, MD Parent Child Center is a very active service with potential for planned growth, as part of the overall academic and service structure of The New York Psychoanalytic Institute and Society.

Our Parent Child Group Program is a model program; the Research Division has been very productive and continues to develop; the new Psychoeducational Evaluation program can be expanded; the Outreach Division with more funds and person power can be more effective; and the Externs and Fellows receive education, training, supervision, and, most importantly, receive exposure to a psychoanalytic way of thinking.

Our overall needs can be broken down into four broad categories:

Space.
Scholarship Fund.
Continued development of research division, particularly funding for the ongoing management of the research database.
Development of programs for disadvantaged children and families.
